I’ve been a longtime Keychron user – I like the clickety-clack of the keys. But they take up so much vertical space and I need to use a wrist rest when I use them. I remembered I have a trusty Apple Magic Keyboard (with TouchID) that I now have below my laptop and its stand. Its like typiong on a sheet of paper its so thin and the keys make the most subtle of sounds – quite relaxing actually.
My key rate precision has significantly gone up and I find myself typing too hard because I am used to the longer key travel associated with mechanical switch keyboards. This requires only a subtle and gentle touch to produce results. I really forgot how amazing these Apple keyboards are.
Just throwing this out there. If you enjoy typing on the laptop itself, you will most likely love the magic of this keyboard. I am still using my Logitech MX3s but my Magic Mouse is on the other side of my office asking to be used. And its a fine mouse too. We’ll see about. that.
