Tooling…

When I visit my General Practitioner (who is also my Endocrinologist), or my gastrointestinal doctor, they always want my current list of medications that they track. And my list of medications is tweaked by my medical staff from time to time I used to write it all down on a sheet of paper and bring it with me to appointments. It worked, but it wasn’t an elegant solution.

So I decided to make a tool. It lists my morning and evening medications and the dose for each. Simple I can just hand my phone to to the nurse and they can quickly look it over.

If it’s a new doctor or nurse, I even added QR support. They can tap a button which reads the data on the page and converts it to a parsed string and creates and displays a QR code. They can snap it with their phone and paste it wherever they might like. I also added clipboard copy support to the page itself in case I need to copy paste the information anywhere.

I can[t wait to hand it to my next nurse and see if she digs it. It might be cool as a little app. It’s far easier to use than Apple Health.
