It has been years of shared server installation that has plagued my hosting. Originally MediaTemple and then that became part of Go Daddy in an acquisition. I have been lazy and nostalgic for my hosting and domain name renewal for so long I am afraid my Transmit subscription is the only way I have in since I don’t remember my credentials.
Firing up my console, I can see that the migration has taken place and that my host configuration is serving up dynamic content much faster than before. Without me turning a single knob. Cache remains the same. This is wonderful and I only wish I had this years ago when it probably mattered more in regards to prototyping, marketing, etc.
Anyway, welcome to 2022 to me – just before it’s over and we summersault into 2023.
