I have wanted to go with a full frame camera for years. Since I am no professional photographer but more of an interested hobbyist, I couldn’t bite that bullet. It didn’t make enough sense. And I forgot about it for years. I recently came upon some travel camera (Fuji point and shoot) models and it reawakened the interest. Seeing the prices come down over the years was enticing and I found a nice model on eBay for a reasonable price with a decent 50mm to boot. I won’t be able to use my APS-C lenses, but that’s not a bad thing.
So now I am looking for the perfect 2 lens landscape lens collection. Maybe the 70-200 ƒ2.8 EF lens and then something closer… Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens. I have done the prime lens thing in the past, and for obvious reasons it’s not nearly as landscape-friendly. A prime for a portraits is probably a better option for me – but I am not into portraiture unless some lovely ladies are interested in posing for me.
